IBA Annual Conference
Patricia Barclay will be attending the IBA Annual Conference in Washington 18th -23rd September and would welcome the opportunity to meet with friends old and new. The Healthcare and LifeScience committee which she chairs is sponsoring 8 sessions as well as hosting a committee lunch. Patricia is speaking on the David & Goliath panel which will discuss how small companies can effectively negotiate with major corporations and will present on progess so far on the committee’s project on Child Sexual Exploitation which has been supported by the Student Committee at the session on Children and the Law. This is an ongoing project and participation from all interested parties is welcome.
Bonaccord has two series of articles running in journals in the North East of England. We have one on setting up a life science business running in the Bioscience Journal and another “7 Tips” which covers various aspects of business in Converge “ 7 Tips for Preparing for Investment” will be in the next issue which focusses on Finance
